Prehistoric shark caught on video in Japan (semi-awesome)

Unfortunately it wasn't the Megalodon, it was something called a Frill Shark, which is possibly the scariest looking fish I've ever seen.

Apparently it was sick and disoriented, which is why it was in such shallow waters.

It always facinated me how we occasionally find fish of marine creatures previously thought to be extinct out of the blue, risen from the depths we haven't thoroughly explored yet for whatever reason.

I can't wait until an adult giant squid is captured.

Better than that is the colossal squid. That is bigger and it's tentacles are riddled with badass beaks!

Sweet. That thing looks like it's been dead for a while and it's just floating.
