Catholics are relaxed and don't take themselves so seriously :)

Discuss.

This reminds me of a story by Giorgio Vasari told in his Lives of the Painters (from 16th century Italy, where everyone was Catholic) about an artist named Nunziata, "a painter of puppets" and "a jest-loving and witty man."

Quote: When a citizen once confessed to him that certain painters displeased him because they only treated lascivious subjects, and said that he wanted a Madonna which should be modest and not an incitement to desire, Nunziata painted him one with a beard.

This both proves and disproves your hypothesis.

Catholics are fine in other countries. We should go back to making them illegal here though.

The protestants isn't unitet like the catholics. Protestants are not a very homogeneous group.
They fail anyhow, like every other form of Christianity.
